What is TSCM?
TSCM stands for Technical Surveillance Countermeasures — the professional discipline of detecting and neutralizing covert audio, video, and tracking devices in vehicles, offices, and residences. ICUnit performs TSCM engagements throughout Ontario for B2B clients including law firms, corporate executives, and security companies.
Why prevention rather than reacting to a problem?
By the time a leak is noticed, the information is already out. Preventative inspections review the environments that matter before sensitive conversations take place. No inspection can guarantee an outcome, but a regular, documented program meaningfully reduces risk.
Do you inspect private aircraft?
Yes. ICUnit provides technical security assessments of private, corporate and charter aircraft cabins and FBO environments, always coordinated with the aircraft operator and the FBO under their procedures.
How do I know if my vehicle has a GPS tracker?
Many trackers are hidden in wheel wells, under bumpers, or wired into the vehicle harness — invisible to the untrained eye. Common signs include unexplained battery drain, unusual interference with electronics, or knowing that you have been followed. The only reliable answer is a professional sweep with calibrated RF and physical inspection.
Can you work with my lawyer?
Yes. ICUnit regularly partners with Ontario criminal, family, and business lawyers. Findings are documented in a written confidential report suitable for case files. Our founder is a Licensed Private Investigator under the Ontario PSISA, which permits formal investigative work in support of legal counsel.
Are consultations confidential?
All consultations, engagements, and reports are strictly confidential. We operate by appointment only, take no walk-ins, and never publish client names or details.
Do you serve all of Ontario?
Yes. ICUnit is based at 262 Carlaw Ave #110A, Toronto, and serves clients across Ontario including Toronto, the GTA, Ottawa, Hamilton, London, Kitchener-Waterloo, Niagara, Barrie, and Kingston. Mobile service is included — we come to you. Engagements elsewhere in Canada are available by arrangement.
How quickly can you respond?
Standard scheduling is within 48 hours. Bundle and Membership clients receive priority scheduling. Emergency response is available — call (905) 955-7689 directly for urgent matters.
What is included in a written report?
Each engagement includes a confidential written report documenting scope, methodology, findings, and recommendations. Reports are professional, court-aware, and structured for use by counsel or executive leadership.
Do you offer ongoing surveillance protection?
Yes. The Membership program provides recurring monthly or quarterly sweeps, priority 24/7 response, and an annual security posture review. It is the right fit for firms, executives, and fleet operators that require continuous assurance.
