From the Canadian Armed Forces to ICUnit.
Our founder's career began in service — not in sales. The Canadian Armed Forces gave him the discipline, the operational mindset, and the respect for documentation that defines how ICUnit engagements are planned and executed today.
After the military, our founder built a deliberate path through investigative and counter-surveillance work — earning his Ontario Private Investigator license under the PSISA Act, and stacking specialist credentials in radio frequency analysis (MESA RF) and Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM).
Imperial Consulting Unit Inc. was founded to deliver that capability to Ontario lawyers, executives, and security organizations who need real answers about who may be listening, watching, or tracking. Today that work extends to corporate offices, boardrooms, events, private residences and private aviation.

Our founder is licensed as a Private Investigator under Ontario’s Private Security and Investigative Services Act. It is the legal foundation that allows ICUnit to support law firms, corporate counsel and security organizations on active matters.

Professional training in radio-frequency spectrum analysis — the technical core of modern TSCM, used to identify unauthorized transmissions within an environment.

Specialized technical surveillance counter-measures training covering covert audio and video device detection, line analysis and physical inspection methodology.
